Iran-Tunisia joint production 'Leila's Blues' is set to be screened at the Tunisia Factory of Directors' Fortnight.

Directed by Fatemeh Ahmadi (Iranian director) and Ismael Louati (director from Tunisia), the short film is about Leila, the mother of a 17-year-old boy named Youssef, who was born with special needs.

She is shocked to find out she is pregnant again unwantedly. She books herself a room in a private clinic without consulting with her husband; but things turn against her on the day she wants to take action.

The Factory project aims at discovering new talents on the international scene, allowing young international directors to meet and create together.

Directors' Fortnight (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs in French) runs parallel to Festival de Cannes.

2018 edition of Festival de Cannes is slated for May 8-19, 2018 in Cannes, France.
